How Does Symbiosis Work?

Question

If you have a Florges with Symbiosis as an ability, how does it work exactly?
How do you use it? What exactly does it do?

Symbiosis doesn't work in Single Battles. It is a Double Battle ability that let's the user pass it's consumed item to it's ally. By consuming, it can be by 'consuming' (duh xD), Fling, Bestow or Natural Gift.

There are exceptions, which you can read about in the source.

Symbioses is only on double or triple battles. Also for symbioses Mega-stones cannot be transferred.
