An easier way to do this rather than trying to get a double team match in pokemon sv is to only have 2 pokemon in your party (your smeargle and the pokemon with the move you want to learn). Next knock out your smeargle on purpose. Then start a battle with another smeargle (they're everywhere in the polar biome in the dlc) use baton pass, then revive your smeargle, swap it in then click sketch and boom your done. (adding this just to give new searches better info)

Yes, you can Sketch Baton Pass and here is how.
Have Smeargle and a pokemon with Baton Pass in a double battle ONLY. Make the pokemon who has Baton Pass use it(it will fail) and then use sketch. That's the only way I know how to get BP on Smeargle.

Some moves (eg. Substitute) must fail in order to be Sketched. Try it!
