Yes and no.

Well that isn't 100% correct, but while it doesn't directly ignore it, it will hit the opponent with the same damage as if they didn't have the berry and you didn't get the critical hit.

Since critical hits give you double the damage and these kinds of berries half the damage takes from certain type attacks, they would negate each other.

Edit: In generation 6, critical hits don't do 2x the damage, only 1.5x, so you would still do less.

Jack, in gen 6, critical hits do x1.5 damage instead of x2
So what I am hearing is you just do base damage. Non-crit, but still super effective.

Wait no. Just thought bout it. Super effective damage is 2x, and the berry cuts it in half. So that's neutral damage, but the crit would still hit like normal, so instead, it'd hit like a neutral attack that crits.  I.E. Critting a dragon with a poison move.
