The Iron Ball makes Flying & Levitating Pokemon susceptible to Ground-type moves, right? Does it reduce/remove the holder's weakness to moves that are super effective to Flying?

Also, I just want to say good job. Usually newer members aren't that great, but you're answers and questions are excellent. I think I was right to nominate you for the "Rookie of the Year" (members who by April will have been around for five or less months) award for the upcoming Pokebase one year anniversary polls.
Rookie of the Year? Cool, thanks man! I didn't even know the site does things like that!

To be perfectly honest, I first joined this site for the sole reason of our computer having Dial-Up; this site's easy on the system. It's also the first Pokemon Forum I've ever joined.

The Pokemon still keeps its Flying type, it just loses immunity to Ground. So (for example) a Staraptor with Iron Ball will still be hit super-effectively by (for another example) Thunderbolt.

Alright, I wasn't totally clear on that. Thanks man!
