Flying type, levitate, and iron ball?

If you gave (fan) Rotom the iron ball, would he still be immune to ground type?

Hi, just wanted to say: great question! I loved it a lot, so I decided to test it out on PS! along with other mechanics as well, like Arena Trap.

So if you're okay with that as a source for my answer, my observations stand thus:

• EQ hits Rotom Fan.
• Arena Trap affects Rotom Fan
• Mold Breaker EQ hits Rotom Fan

tl;dr: Iron Ball sux. It makes it lose both ability and type advantage.
