I'm thinking of getting started on the tier, but I don't know what to use.

Try here. And here. And here and the more recent issues of here. These links and articles help prepare for common threats, explain synergy, et cetera. Good luck!

What the hell? I swear I asked for tips on AAA. I don't know why the title is like that.
Way more helpful than the other answer (no offense to PikaPi 3.14). PikaPi 3.14's answer is only a sample team.
I think that statement is left to Lukethehedgehog's decision but I'm not gonna ask him. Then he/she would have to choose. Das bad.

Well in my opinion as I am a showdown user you must first determine what tier you want to use, I reccomend starting in Anything Goes setup. This tier's only limits are no forcing endless battles and HP is shown in percentages (HP percentage is in like every tier.) You can make a team based around any aspect or many aspects here's a team I personally like! P.S. It's an OU tier team see if you like it! I'm also gonna give a little info on how to use them.

Azumarill (M) @ Pixie Plate
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 128 Def / 128 SpD
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Spe
- Play Rough
- Body Slam
- Aqua Jet
- Work Up

Gliscor (M) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 56 Def / 200 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aerial Ace
- Earthquake
- Night Slash
- Rest

Charizard (M) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Aerial Ace
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake

Talonflame (M) @ Sky Plate
Ability: Gale Wings
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Swords Dance
- Will-O-Wisp

Tyranitar (M) @ Earth Plate
Ability: Sand Stream
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Brick Break
- Ice Punch
- Facade

Ambipom (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Skill Link
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Double Slap
- Gunk Shot
- Shadow Claw
- Beat Up
Azumarril: here because Wynaut? Pixie Plate+Play Rough+ 198 Attack+ whatever bonus Huge Power adds= Nice coverage plus, if your confident you can take hits go for a Swords Dance just to wreck everything.
Gliscor: there to be your Physical Tank, Earthquake STAB= 150 base power + 317 attack for win. Aerial Ace for a nice 90 base power flying. Toxic Orb + Poison Heal AND rest for some nice regen.
Mega Charizard X: Looks cool, a 317 HP sweeper soo that's good. Fire Punch just in-case you ran into something like Scizor who has 4x weakness fire and you don't need recoil to take its toll. Edit!!! Give Charizard a Physical Dragon move when he M-evolves into X form he gets dragon type.
Talonflame: Sorta like Azumarill but also kinda different, Gale Wings Brave Bird with Sky Plate and Swords Dance (if you can) pretty much wrecks everything. Will-O-Wisp to halve Attack stat of defending Pokemon, he doesn't have the best defense.
Tyranitar: Ahh..... THE GREAT TYRANT! Earth Plate Sandstorm E-quake is pretty good in my EXP. Everything else is coverage.
Ambipom: I KNOW ITS NO AN OU ITS RU stop Houndooming me (<-- Best pun ever) basically here because not many people expect a Solid Normal type and and Skill Link
Double Slab with Choice Band can kill if needed. Other moves are there for use BUT REMEMBER it is Choice Banded so what you choose you're locked into until you switch out or faint.

Other than that see what works best for you, take my team and completely re-do it if you want
P.S. Hope this helped! -PikaPi 3.14

You actually recommend beginning in AG? No offense, but that's garbage. Mega Rayquaza are everywhere, not to mention Soul Dew Lati@s. Any beginner is going to get wiped the second they set foot there. No beginner should have to deal with the 5-Arceus + M-Ray strategy.
I also recommended OU, and isn't failure the way to learn as he/she gets wrecked he/she will learn that M-Ray is 4x weak to ice  and build teams around other threats. I'm training her/him Karate Kid style.
If you play COD  Local on Recruit all your life are you ever gonna get better on live? (Cuz' I didn't)
If you train on Super Smash Bros U with Lvl 3 CPU are you ever gonna be good online?
Also you have any improvement I could make to my team?
First, I didn't see the OU recommendtion. My bad. Second, M-Ray is only x2 weak to Ice unless you have a Cloud Nine or Primal Pokémon handy. AG is also the tier that breaks all the rules. There's no Same Species Clause, meaning the team of six Arceus is lurking around every corner. OU is a much better place to start than AG, since the latter isn't an official tier, so it's more of a place to goof around. Note that Ubers wasn't an "official" tier until the creation of Anything Goes.

As for your, team, ask it on the RMT and I'll try to rate it. Comment box is too small.
