Is it possible reset X?

So, I finished X and then had a poke bank accident and lost almost all of my legends and starters from it. So then I decided to reset it and play through it again, but then I realized there was no 'new game' button like there was on the older games. Can I reset it and if so how?

Yes

On the start up screen, you want to press B, X and Up on the d pad at the same time and it will ask you if you want to reset your game data. Say yes and yes again to start the game back from the beginning.
