Does the Flame Body/Magma Armor Pokemon have to be adjacent to the egg?

I'm hatching 5 eggs at once, and I have a Larvesta in my party with Flame Body. What I was wondering is, will Larvesta's ability only affect the eggs below, above and next to it? I have mine in the top-left corner, so will it only affect two eggs or the entire party?

It can be anywhere in your party, it will always affect the entire party no matter where it is placed.
I don't have an exact source for this, but I've noticed that whenever I hatch eggs they would all hatch in roughly the same around of steps. I haven't found anything that said that you need them in a specific spot to hatch specific eggs.
