Can you rebattle gym leaders in black?

I've been wondering for a while but can you rematch gym leaders in pokemon black and where?

I had previously answered a similar wuestion saying yes and also giving proof from a persons videos on youtube using the original DS... but turns out that guy had messed up some hack or so and actually you CANNOT battle the gym leaders again.

So to get to your answer , you CaNNOT rematch the leaders .
