Does Mean look's effects continue if the user is knocked out?

I know this a pretty basic question, but here we go:
Say Pokemon A uses mean look, but the next turn the Pokemon that used mean look is knocked out by the opposing Pokemon. Could the opposing Pokemon switch out the next turn? Sorry if this isn't very clear, I can clarify if needed. Thanks! c:

Yes if the user that used mean look faints the other Pokemon can switch out/flee
