If you look at all the eeveelutions, they all have the same stats; just located in different spots. Therefore, the top 3 eeveelutions would have to be your choice on opposed to the overall vote.
I've compiled a list of what their strengths in each stat are: Bold = Good, Moderate = OK in, Italicized = Bad
Vaporeon: HP and Sp. Atk., Sp. Def., Def, Atk, Speed
Jolteon: Sp. Atk, Speed, Sp. Def, Atk, HP, Def
Flareon: Atk and Sp. Def, Sp. Atk, HP, Def, Speed
Sylveon: Sp. Atk and Sp. Def, HP, Atk, Def, Speed
Espeon: Sp. Atk and Speed, Sp. Def, Atk, HP, Def
Umbreon: Def and Sp. Def, HP, Atk, Sp. Atk, and Speed
Leafeon: Atk and Def, Speed, HP, Sp Atk., Sp Def
Glaceon: Def and Sp Atk., Sp Def, HP, Atk, Speed
As you can see, each eeveelution is different. Some that are appear to same such as Jolteon and Espeon slightly differ in stats and definitely abilities. But, the fact that jolteon only has one weakness makes him a popular choice. Basically, it all comes down to your battle strategy. From this list, Jolteon, Espeon, Umbreon seem to be good choices, but all work really well.
