If a wild Pokemon knocks out one of your Pokemon, does it gain an EV?

I'm trying to reset for a certain natured Celesteela, and I plan to EV train it after I get the nature I want. However, since it is a UB, I know it is stronger than some of my team and will knock out a few of them. If, for example, I send out an eevee and it knocks it out, would the Celesteela gain a Special Defense EV? Or would the EVs be zero like every other wild Pokemon you catch?

Wild Pokemon will not gain an ev from knocking out Pokemon, same as they don't gain experience points.
