Can Gigantamax Pokémon evolve?

Question

I tried small candies on my G-max Meowth because I love Persian. I wanted to see what a Gigantamax Persian would look like but it won’t evolve. Does Meowth evolve at a high level or is it just that Gigantamaxes don’t evolve?

Nope. Sadly enough there is no Gigantamax form of Persian, and you cannot evolve Meowth, neither do all the other non-fully evolved Gigantamax Pokémon at the moment (Eevee, Pikachu). Although you can evolve a Charmander you get gifted at Hop's house and evolve it to get a free Gigantamax Charizard.

Thanks! Just wondering. Ever since I caught and evolved an Alolan Meowth in Moon, I loved that Pokémon. I also would’ve got the Leafeon. Did you know that if you play Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee you can get a free Gigantamax version in Sword/Sheild at a train station?

No it can’t evolve and it can’t breed. What do you think Gmax Persian would look like?

Maybe like the Meowth. Like, long legs and body, with more red gems? I don’t actually know. That’s kind of why I asked the question!
