Zubat's supersonic hits through my substitute?

Question

I am chain calling for a shiny zubat on USUM and the 'caller' zubat keeps hitting me with supersonic through my substitute. I am using a decidueye. On this page it says that 'those behind substitute can't be hit.' Zubat's ability was Inner Focus, I swapped that ability with Harvest with my exeggcutor. Not sure what I'm missing here, I hope someone knows what's going on. Thanks :)

Since gen VI substitute isn't blocking soundbased moves.
