Currently, all Pokémon in the Galar Pokédex are allowed except Zacian, Zamazenta, and Eternatus. Additionally, Cobalion, Verizion, Terrakion, and all the Alola starters are allowed.

However, starting in September (Ranked Battles Series 6), the top ten most used Pokémon from both Singles and Doubles will also be banned. This includes:

  • Venusaur
  • Gyarados
  • Porygon2
  • Tyranitar
  • Torkoal
  • Hippodon
  • Mimikyu
  • Magnezone
  • Togekiss
  • Rillaboom
  • Cinderace
  • Indeedee (Both Genders)
  • Dragapult
  • Excadrill
  • Whimsicott
  • Incineroar

Hope this helps!

NOTE: I’m not sure if Zarude is part of the Galar Pokédex yet, but it’s banned as well. Mythicals are almost always banned from the beginning.
