Do overleveled Pokemon disobey in wifi battles?

Question

Let's say I started the game for whatever reason and I trade with myself a level one hundred Pokemon. If I use this Pokemon to battle another player online, will it disobey me if I don't have the stamps or is the disobedience only limited to the storyline?

Pokémon will always obey your commands online. The obedience factor with the badges seems to only affect the in-game storyline.
