What happens when you lose to an elite four member after becoming champion?

How many times has kahali bragged about beating me -_-. What happens when you do lose tho?(for all games, maybe there would be a difference)

Nothing will happen special. As usual, you will reach last visited Pokémon center or one that situated infront of the Pokémon league.
