A lot of people seem to use Yveltal in National Dex AG and I'm wondering if it is really good or not.

Very viable as it is in -S tier. He checks and counters a lot of Pokemon in the meta. Most notable is its Dynamaxing capability with Life orb. Max Darkness has a BP of about 172 thanks to Dark Aura doing so high damage. Max Airstream makes up for its average speed, turning him unstoppable. What the other answer says about movepool doesn't make sense. STABed Max Darkness deals more damage than those moves, only Heat Wave and U-Turn are used, not those ones.
He provides a excellent revenge killer, using Max Airstream to destroy teams. He checks and counters Lugia, Ho-Oh, Zacian, Dusk-Mane Necrozma, Lunala, Groudon-Primal, etc. and Xerneas if uses Geomancy, he will get punished with Max Airstream then easily revenge killed. Even Ditto having less HP causes it to get wrecked up easily. Mega-Rayquaza also gets KOed by Max Darkness.

You can  take that out now.
Can it check Calyrex Ice Rider?
And in a 1v1 situation, Yveltal will lose against Xerneas
It isn't recommend against Calyex Ice-Rider but.... yes.
252+ SpA Life Orb Dark Aura Yveltal Dark Pulse vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Calyrex-Ice: 398-468 (98.7 - 116.1%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO
And in that 1v1 situation...... no one brings in such way. Yveltal comes in to revenge kill, dynamaxes, then wrecks havoc. Max Airstream from Life Orb deals like 87% to Xerneas. If they use Geomancy and not dynamax, then you win. Ask ProfDellDell, I used that on him.
Lol, I’m just saying
You make a lot of sense tho
