Why are there Fakemon in Pokemon Showdown?

I have seen weird Fakemon in Showdown and moves that do not exist. Is that a glitch?

That's not a glitch. The Pokemon and moves you probably saw were from CAP project. Create a Pokemon project. It's a part of smogon and they are available in showdown for some formats. Go to smogon's main page to access it!
