On this site it says that G-max gold rush is meowth's signature G-max move. I was looking through the g-max moves and saw that g-max smite was also meowth's g-max move. But I thought that G-max moves only are the type of the user, (e.g g-max Centiferno is fire type).

If this has been asked before I don't know because it didn't appear on the related questions bit

No.
This is an error in our website, G-Max Smite is the G-Max move of Hatterene, not Meowth.

A Fairy-type attack that Gigantamax Hatterene use. This move confuses opponents.

This is the SwSh description of it. Bulbapedia also says this:

G-Max Smite (Japanese: キョダイテンバツ Kyodai Smite) is a damage-dealing Fairy-type G-Max Move introduced in Generation VIII. It is the exclusive G-Max Move of Gigantamax Hatterene.

As such, Meowth has only 1 G-Max move, and that written in G-Max Smite's page is an error.
Hope this helps!

It has been reported already though.
Yes, but it still hasn't been fixed though. @ J™, were you going to snipe me ? lol
I was, then my tablet lagged and I lost all of my progress lol.
Lol Rip.
Odd, this is the same for the move G-Max Resonance
Has it been yet reported? I mean about G-Max Resonance.
I put that on “minor site errors”.
