What happens if I give a Fallinks a Shed Shell, then use No Retreat?

I was wondering because Shed Shell seems to only affect the opponent’s moves that trap your Pokemon, but I’m not sure about your own moves.

Holding the item Shed Shell, Eject Button or Red Card allows the user of No Retreat to switch out even after using the move.

The Shed Shell allows to user to switch out regardless of even self-inflicted effects, such as Ingrain.

So, if you were to give Fallinks a Shed Shell and use No Retreat, you would be able to switch.
