Will my eggs in PoGo still hatch under these circumstances?

Okay, so lets say I'm incubating a 5km Egg with the blue incubator thing. I went to a 5km trip by car and PoGo isn't opened at all during the trip; adventure sync is not enabled, though celullar data is on.

Will the egg still hatch? Oh and if cellular data isn't on, will it still hatch as well?

No it wont. It only counts steps (under 10km/h movement) and the app has to be open of adventure sync is turned off

The game is made to track movement of the the phone while the app is on in a speed under 10km/hr so driving a car won't register to the PoGo.
