How come Torment didn’t effect me?

I was in a Gigantamax Grimmsnarl raid, and it used Torment against my Dynamaxed Dedenne, and it said ‘It doesn’t affect Potato’s Chee…’ or something like that. What happened?

Dynamax Pokemon are Immune to moves like Torment, Encore and Disable.
