How often do Bonus and Rare Pick show up?

In Pokemon TCG Pocket, self explanatory. Seems pretty random to me, other than increased for events.

I genuinely want this answered, I want another Zapdos ex and get the exclusive flair but the rare picks are just not showing up

Do bonus picks ever show up outside of events?

Bonus Picks and "Rare" Picks appear only when events are going on in TCG Pocket.

I don’t remember, unfortunately. I’ve had so many. I could very well be wrong, but that’s been my observation so far.

I feel like someone who sees it abbreviated as Pokemon TCGP might not know what it stands for, while English speaking Pokemon fan site users usually know that the PTCG in PTCG Pocket stands for Pokemon Trading Card Game.

Well I mean they obv only show up during events, it’s just that I sometimes have droughts where I don’t get a rare pick in a while

According to two Sources, during certain events, Bonus Picks have a 15% chance to appear when a Wonder Pick Expires, Rare Picks (In Mass Outbreak Events) have a 1.2% Chance to appear when a Wonder Pick Expires, and Chansey Picks (In Wonder Pick Events) have a 2.5% Chance to appear when a Wonder Pick Expires.

They do not generate outside of events to my knowledge, but they might not be expired by the time the event ends.
