I stole my brother's Scarlet cartridge for future tests on version 1.0.0 and I noticed that Drifloon from an outbreak didn't fly away while Drifloon from outside the outbreak did. So now I'm wondering if that's just a 1.0.0 version behavior or if this is the same in the updated version and if this is consistent behavior with other light Pokemon from an outbreak in a storm.

What I mean by light Pokemon are Pokemon that get swept away in a storm like Igglybuff, Jigglypuff, Drifloon, floette, the Hoppip line, and any others I may have missed.

light Pokemon do indeed fly away during a storm, if you look closely you'll even see they have worried faces before they're swept away, small light Pokemon are the only ones that get blown away, and since this is 1.0.0 SV I'm sure that being blown away is inconsistent since base SV had plenty of problems. that would explain why the one from the outbreak didn't get blown away.

I'm not sure if you understood what I was asking. I'm asking if light Pokemon specifically from an outbreak get blown away in the current version of the game (switch 1/switch 2). The whole Drifloon outbreak wasn't affected by the storm, so I'm asking if this is the same as the updated version and if other light Pokemon from an outbreak also don't blow away.

I know it's kind of a big ask for something so trivial but did you go to outbreaks for some of the light Pokemon and see how they interact in a storm in the current version of the game vs ones outside it?
I did not, but I'll go check and update my answer here in a bit, apologies for misunderstanding.
Any progress on this?
sorry it's been a while. I completely forgot about this question. I'll check more outbreaks and post what I've found once I do.
