Does having more Pokemon in a picnic increase the number of eggs you receive?

Question

I'm hunting the Paldean starters right now and currently, I have all 3 (male) in a picnic with a single Ditto. However, soon, I may need to start single hunting the starters. Right now, with Egg Power 2 active, I get around 2 full boxes of eggs, sometimes around a row more, sometimes a bit less than 2 boxes.
So my questions are (using Sprigatito as my example and assuming Egg Power 2 is active):

1. Would I get around the same amount of eggs if I were to breed with 1 Sprigatito and Ditto(foreign) vs 5 Sprigatito(same gender) and a Ditto?

2. Would I get around the same amount of eggs if I had 5 Ditto and a Sprigatito(foreign) vs just 1 Ditto?

3. Would I get around the same amount of eggs if I had a sprigatito(F) and a different Pokemon of the same egg group, like a like a Fuecoco(M, foreign) vs if I had 3 Sprigatito and 3 Fuecoco?

4. If any of these produces a significant amount of eggs more than the other options, which options produces the most eggs?

Yes and no
Having more Pokemon does Technically increase your egg amount in some cases.
For your first question the answer is yes. Five sprigatito and one ditto would just give you the same amount of eggs as one ditto and one sprigatito. Because the ditto would only be able to bread with one sprigatito at a time.
Your second question also has the exact same result. The third on the other hand will definitely give you the most because each sprigatito and fuecoco would be able to bread separately.

5 sprigatito + 1 ditto = baseline amount
5 ditto + 1 sprigatito = baseline amount
3 fuecoco + 3 sprigatito = highest amount possible.

Also each fuecoco could pare with each sprigatito multiple times so you could get up to 9 eggs

Alright so I was scrolling through my wall and I saw a post by ditto asking if I was almost done with the eggs. I had completely forgotten! So I decided to get on it before I got replaced by a ditto.

So first I had five ditto breed with one sprigatito for 10 minutes, with a level two egg power. It gave me nine eggs…

Next I tried flipping it around. And I got similar results.

Finally I tried three (F) sprigatito with three (M) fuecoco. I got a whooping 25 eggs in ten minutes.

So yeah I would definitely recommend the last one.

Yes I did test this. I got 7 eggs relatively fast

Nine eggs is insanely low, must've been a bad batch.
