PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

As the title says, I wanna know if there is a way to get my Pokémon some of their tm moves without having to run around the map hunting for certain Pokémon, so for example not having to hunt around the map for the Pokémon needed to make multiple Swords Dance tms. Preferably without having to transfer my Pokémon to another game, teaching them the move there, and then sending them back to Gen 9 as there are some Gen 9 Pokémon I want to do this for.

Ok I know exactly how you feel. Trying to constantly track down Pokemon so you just get one tm. Lucky there are plenty of other options.
.1 Finding the tm in the wild
So this might be considered much harder than actually finding the Pokemon. But thankfully Pokemon db does have a list where you can find the tm in scarlet and violet. Although if you want more detailed specifics you can always look it up somewhere else. Here is a link to the Pokemon database list. https://pokemondb.net/scarlet-violet/tms
.2 Progressing in the story
So I don’t know if you have completed the game but if you haven’t, advancing in the story will definitely get you some more TMs.
.3 The Indigo Disc Shop
So once again I’m not sure if you have the dlc. If you do then the shop should provide plenty of TMs pretty cheep. If you don’t have the dlc you could always consider getting it.
.4 Tera Raids
Tera raids are a great way to get TMs. They are relatively easy to beat depending on the level. Plus you will get other great rewards too. Although of course not every one will have TMs.
.5 Breeding
Ok this isn’t TMs but it can still work great. If you can find a Pokemon in the same egg group as your Pokemon and it knows the move you want you can get that move on to your Pokemon. All you have to do is have one Pokemon have an empty slot for another move. Give that Pokemon a mirror herb. Then put the Pokemon with the move you want in a picnic together. Make sure they are the only two Pokemon you don’t want a different move by mistake. Note THIS ONLY WORKS FOR EGG MOVES. I wanted to include it though just in case you needed an egg move.
Hope this helps!

Just wanted to add that if you know where a Pokemon spawns and don't mind gathering materials, gathering a bunch at once is a decent way to prevent having to constantly seek out more materials in the future.

Other than that good answer!
Well at least I now know how you are supposed to give a certain ancient fish Last Respects
Also in hindsight Swords Dance wasn’t the right move to use as an example cause I somehow picked multiple Pokémon that naturally learn Swords Dance via level up for my team-
