In addition to the obvious looking for shinies, you could look for the rare gender on species that have unbalanced ratios, but none of the 7:1s available here (Eevee evolutions, Lucario) have visually distinct appearances between the genders, so maybe something like Alakazam which does have different appearances but at only 3:1.
