Why doesn’t Professor Tangrowth like my Plate?

Question

I’m trying to get slowpoke to yawn. I have built a rain dance site and it’s processed as a rain dance site. With the plate, and charm. But professor tamgrowth keeps asking for a plate. I bought one and made one. He doesn’t like my plates. I put them down by the rain dance site, and even removed and readded my leppa berry :( help

lol sure, I had to bring Squirtle to see my rain site

To get the professor to like your plate, bring squirtle to the rain site
