Are Dream Islands randomly generated?

Like does it just regenerate every time I go back to the same type of island or does it randomly generate each time? How does it work?

Answer 1

Partially: the type of doll changes what the basic environment of the island will be. However, certain elements like the layout and items will change. When using a Ditto doll or Substitute, however, the environment is randomized too.

Eevee doll= Wasteland
Pikachu doll= Beach
Clefairy doll= Mountains
Arcanine doll= Mines
Dragonite doll= Skylands
Ditto/Substitute doll= Random
