What can you do if you fill out max box size in Pokemon Champions?

So I've noticed that apparently the max limit of Pokemon in the box if you don't spend money is 30. That feels absurdly low and had I not noticed that I'd probably would have been recruiting Pokemon carelessly over time.

But that's gotten me to wonder, what does happen if you reach the limit? Does it simply not let you to recruit new Pokemon? Does it give you options to release Pokemon, cause I haven't seen the option so far.

Your box size does increase a small amount as you move up the tiers in ranked.

Well you can send Pokemon back to the ranch or just send them back to home, but there really isn’t anything when you fill up your box
