if for example a jirachi uses doom desire on a weedle and furret uses follow me on the next turn would the doom desire go to furret or weedle? likewise if furret uses follow me and on the same turn jirachi uses doom desire on weedle, would it then go to furret or weedle on the next turn? ignore the fact that this would be a double battle and that jirachi should have a teammate

I’m 99 percent sure that if you use rage powder the turn doom desire is used doom desire will hit the Pokemon that used rage powder but using rage powder any other turn won’t work. I’ll test this later to make sure though

So future sight and doom desire don’t interact with follow me at all. So future sight and doom desire select a certain slot to attack as follow me makes just attacks on the turn go to the user. However if you use follow me on the turn future sight and doom desire do damage, the future sight and doom desire attack won’t hit the follow me user due to the attack being locked on the slot as of Gen 6 onwards. Rage powder works the same other than with grass types.

Rage powder is the exact same as follow me except it doesn’t affect grass types. With that in mind it’s pretty safe to say rage powder will work the same as follow me in the scenario’s mentioned
Ok then
what about if on the turn doom desire or future sight is selected the follow me is used? apologies for not responding earlier, i did not see this
the bulbapedia pages says follow me doesn't do anything so same as before
i see, ty
