How many times can one go back to owns home and then to the island of dreams again in one day?

Ok I went to the dream world, then I went to the island of dreams. I went through it and did not catch the Pokemon I wanted so I returned to my house and then went back to to the island. Again no Pokemon that I wanted. I repeated the process a few more times but then when I went to the island it didn't have any Pokemon or Items in it I tried again nothing. How many times exactly do they let you do back and forth and why can't I find Nidoran, Abra, or Sabeleye!

There is only stuff on the isle of dreams for about eight trips. If you are no longer finding anything you will have to wake your pokemon up and try again the next day.

I usually will do the games for almost all the pokemon and then will take one with when i wake up even if i didn't find one that i wanted just so i have something for my pokedex or trade fodder.

you can go back and forth as many times as you want. Your issues were most likely caused by bad connections to the pokemon dream server.
