trick and choice items

if my alakazam used trick while holding choice specs would i still be stuck with the one move or does the fact you have swapeed items cancel choice items effects

You get to choose a new move after you trick/switcheroo it away. Actually a strategy commonly used by Jirachi and others to mess up your foes.
