Does Foul Play get STAB?

Question

A pokemon using Foul Play attacks with the opponents power so there are three possibilities.

1.If the user is a dark type, Foul Play gets STAB.

2.If the target is a dark type, Foul Play gets STAB.

3.It doesn´t get STAB at all.

So which of them is right?

It just uses the opponents power, not their typing, so its the first one, Foul play gets stabe when you're a dark type, hope i helperd :P
