What does the + mean?

So I was looking at Nincada and it said it evolves into Ninjask then + Shedinja. What does that mean?

It means that if you evolve Nincada when you have an empty spot in your party, you will get a Ninjask and then a Shedinja will appear in the empty spot.

It means when you level you nincada up to level 20 if you have a free spot in your party you will get a shedinja too.
