If someone deletes their question an I have answered it,do I lose the points I got for answering?

Yeah you do. But if you got voted down on an answer, and the question is hidden, you don't regain those lost points.

I'm not sure but if the question is hidden but the answer is still technically "visible" then the points may stay. The answer won't be seen anywhere on the site because the question is hidden, but it's not actually marked as hidden.

Unless one of us goes in and hides the answer after the question is hidden.
