When making an answer/question, you will notice a little icon on the toolbar just above the text box that looks like a photograph, click this and enter the URL of the image you wish to insert, and it will be added. Another alternative is that you press Ctrl and G at the same time, which does the same thing, you just don't have to press the icon.
