Let's say you ask a question, and then you answer it. Can you give yourself best answer? If you can, does it effect your points? Just curious.

Yes you can give yourself best answer, if you found the answer yourself. And no, you don't get any points for that!

Something to add though is that typically you should not ask a question if you know the answer.
