I don't play LC, so I don't know about complete viability, but I do know that they aren't that good.  I'm glad you agree with it though.

And between you and me, the questions seem like a point grab to me.

Silent editing means we can edit posts without causing them to re-appear in the activity feed. It also prevents the "edited by..." message from appearing on the post (or, if it's already there, stops the date from changing). The edits are still recorded in the edit history, though.
It's a feature we used a lot when we were updating the moveset question descriptions, for example. It helps stop clutter.

What do you mean by that? If it's an effective set, then yeah you can post it. If it's a gimmick/joke, then it's frowned upon, sorry. I'm not sure how effective it is or isn't, so you be the judge of  that :P
