I do Hoopa for supporter, Charizard for all allrounder, Zapdos for attacker, Umbreon for Defender, and Zeraora/Talonflame for Speedster.

Of course. but...

0 Atk Corviknight Brave Bird vs. 120 HP / 56 Def Tapu Koko: 62-73 (19.9 - 23.4%) -- possible 5HKO
204+ Def Corviknight Body Press vs. 120 HP / 56 Def Tapu Koko: 42-50 (13.5 - 16%) -- possible 7HKO

Using HP Fire would force them to switch out, because they aren't winning that fight. You could use the forced switch to bring in your own to whatever you expect them to send out.

No problem. I struggled to get higher than 1300 in any tier for a while, and predicting is one of the most important things in competitive Pokémon. One more thing I'll say is look at your opponent's elo. If they have a pretty low one, then they probably won't switch as much, and they won't predict your prediction. If they are higher ladder however, you need to read them, and figure out if they will switch or not.

Reads are important in many competitive games other than Pokémon as well, so it's important to have some ability to read an opponent in any game.

Also, it can also help to have a move that will deal ok damage to both possible targets. For example, in the example I used in my last overly long wall post, if you were unsure if they would switch, you could use HP Fire to deal significant damage to Corviknight if they stayed, and chip Lando if they switched. Protect is also helpful, as it lets you see your opponent's plan, without any danger to you.

Sorry if I keep writing wall posts that challenge the character limit. I just really like competitive Pokémon, and I think it's better to have too much information than you need, then not enough when you need it.

See you later.
