Hmm, I'd say Ice Ball Politoed is PROBABLY a bad idea. :P
You probably meant ice beam... right?
Whats VGC?
Video Game Championship.
Your main issue here is that you have 3 huge common weaknesses: Grass, Electric, and Psychic. Thunderbolt is common, which destroys Gyrados, and Politoed after Waccan Berry is used. also Grass Knot is commonly run on Infernape, Mienshao, and other Physical Attackers due to it being a reliable special attack that can help break physical walls like Milotic Swampert Blastoise and Gastrodon. also can pwn Kingdra . Psychic moves are a dime a dozen, you can count on at least two Pokemon running a Psychic move. also a Flying attack wouldn't exactly tickle your Ludicolo. I would try to diversify your typing to minimize weakness to a single type, especially commonly used ones. Hidden Power is easily fit onto most Pokemon and can hit you for supereffective damage when you thought for sure it had no moves that could even scratch you.
You told him what you thought was wrong with the team, but do you think you could tell him how to fix it maybe?
I usually will suggest moves and point out weaknesses but i seldom try to suggest new pokemon without their consent. but below is my thoughts team wise

I would swap your team around a lot. those huge type flaws are going to cost you against anyone but a total noob.

You didnt even rate his team, you just gave a completely new team. And what is it with you and Dragonite? You don't have EVs, Accelgor is RU, and will be raped in OU (Hydration + Rest is irrelevant), Blissey has almost no offensive capabilites whatsoever outside of seismic toss, serene grace or not.
I just gave you a few suggestions of possible replacements. i never said use all of these I've listed. Accelgor usually does blow, yes, but the whole reason i threw him in was to as a last ditch curveball.. Rest + Hydration isn't really all that useful since Accelgor dies in 2 hits tops. the main use is to switch in to soak up a T-Wave or Wisp, and instantly heal it off. Me First is a surprise for say Starmie using TBolt cuz it then eats its own attack at x1.5 + x2 weakness. However i was not by any means suggesting that be your first option. as for Dragonite, the only people that don't like it are the people who don't know how to utilize it effectively. Salamence is all well and good, but their max attack stat is 405 for Sally, 403 for DNite. i will take 2 points in Atk for Multiscale which about doubles Dragonites bulk. about EVs that was my bad, i was tired. but i don't need to justify anything i have said. its your team, and you're gonna use whatever you want anyway. i think we got off on the wrong foot way back on that Rain Team a few days back, and for that, i apologize. but if you ask for feedback, people are gonna give you whatever they want. a lot of times someone's play style  is gonna differ from yours, since there are more than one strategy in Pokemon. Don't like my advice, don't use it. simple as that. and hopefully we can be mature about this, lest it degenerate into a something so petty as a flame war. i dont know about you, but i'm 22, and a little too old for investing emotion into an argument about Pokemon over a website where i will most likely never even meet the other party face to face
Sorry I downvoted this as you didn't give suggestions really just possible replacements, wether or not they synergies most being no.
Someone upvoted and I'm not sure why, your answers never complete
Ha no need to apologize. its a website based on opinion and variables. it would be ridiculous to take something said on this site personally. i just say what i think needs to be said, whether i have the popular vote backing my statement or not.
I feel like a jerk sorry :D I removed the vote but you have this section wrong, it's not like a forum you actually have to look into the team, the synergy the threats ect
Your actually very knowledgable which is great and you will likely be a higher user in the future to come but you have to give opinions on everypokemon, like look at some of my answers wether they are good or bad they have the layout and advice.
You can't write just a paragraph like you have been doing recently which resulted in me converting your answers into comments to prevent you receiving down votes.
You have good potential but you need to learn its not a forum lol ;)
No harm, no foul. i will make sure my analysis of teams in the future are more cohesive. thanks for the pointer. :B
