I think I'm going to use Mew's Teambuilding system or as i know it smogons.
Team Building Process
So i started off with Infernape planning on using a Iron fist set abusing Fire Punch and Thunder Punch. But Smogon recomended a mixed set and i was not keen on a choiced set. So i went for a Mixed set abusing Overheat and Close Combat as my powerfull stabs. I was origionally using Blaze to increase my Overheats power but then i had the idea of making a sun team, so i may as well distribute the power else where.
I would never consider setting my weather up by he means of sunny day.
I never usually abuse Chlorophyll on sun teams but i wanted a change and some stab grass coverage.
3 Pokemon effectivly weak to ground was a problem so i needed a pokemon with Levitate or flying typing. Landorus provided some nice coverage.
Just to be safe i added a Tornadus-T as another scouter and special sweeper. The flying typing was nice for avoiding Earthquakes.
I wanted my team to be very offensive so to keep up the spirit i added a dragon dancer.
I was having problems with Haxorous now and i was missing stealth rocks. My team was broken at this point so i decided to switch Haxorous for a more reliable sweeper (Dragonite) and Landorus for another pokemon capable of levitating, using Stealth rocks and not adding to the ice weakness (Azelf) Azelf made a nice lead capable of taking two hits from specs toed in rain with scald. it could set up rocks and expload if needed :D
The Team
Azelf @ Life Orb Trait: Levitate EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def) - Flamethrower - U-turn - Stealth Rock - Explosion
I never knew how good Azelf was untill i tried him for a suicide Stealth Rock lead. Not only did i find him being great at setting down rocks and providing its suicide service but it could do alot of damage with U-Turn and Flamethrower. Azelf is vital on this team. I have Flamethrower over Fire Punch as it will be hitting simerly hard and hits Bulk up users. Explosion does not really need an explanation.
Infernape (F) @ Life Orb Trait: Iron Fist EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def) - Overheat - Mach Punch - Close Combat - U-turn
I had been meaning to build an Ou team for quite some time that abused Infernape. Finally i finished this team and this pokemon wrecks. Overheat is incredibly powerful and as is Close Combat. Infernape is a great wall breaked on each side of the defensive spectrum. Mach Punch is prioritywith needed boost from Life Orb and Iron Fist helping me punish pokemon that set up. It is also needed to help me Ko Terrakion. Close Combat and U-turn are great on the same set alowing me to do lots of damage with a small chance of being caught out by speedy Pokemon.
Venusaur (F) @ Life Orb Trait: Chlorophyll EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Growth - Giga Drain - Hidden Power [Fire] - Sludge Bomb
My Chlorophyll abuser. Dual stabs will do a nice amount with Life Orb at +2 and Hidden Power also effectivly receives stab thanks to sun boost. I have considered running Hasty or Naive to out speed opposing Chlorophyll abusers and Timid Scarfed Latios. (Opinions please on Nature) Either way we all know how powerfull Venasaur is in sun.
Dragonite (F) @ Lum Berry Trait: Multiscale EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Fire Punch - ExtremeSpeed - Dragon Claw - Dragon Dance
He has bulk, Powe and coverage. What else could i ask for. This is the first time I've used Dragonite in at least 3 months and it hasn't changed. Its role int he tier is still clear and Multiscale maybe was a bit generous for it to receive but it works for me so I'm happy. Lum Berry is to avoid them burns and Toxic/Thunder Wave. Fire Punch is again boosted by sun and Extreme Speed is priority and hits hard at +1.
Ninetales (F) @ Choice Specs Trait: Drought EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Flamethrower - Hidden Power [Fighting] - Energy Ball - Overheat
I need some way of setting sun up. Choice Specs alows me to abuse my fire moves on a large scale. Hidden Power fight is an 87.5% chance to Ohko 4Hp Tyranitar not running SDef in sand. Energy Ball hits Gastrodon and Quagsire. Overheat is my second stab for just hitting bulky things.
Tornadus-T (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Regenerator EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def) - U-turn - Heat Wave - Air Slash - Superpower
This Pokemon is so fun to use. 375 Speed and a ncie movepool is fun to abuse. Heat Wave is boosted. U-turn scouts and helps me recover any health lost from Life Orb thanks to regenerater. Air Slash is over Hurricane for its unreliablity. Superpower is over Focus Blast as it is more reliable and I'm not even sure if Focus Blast is an Ohko to Tyraniatr (252Hp 152SDef). Wether it is or is not an Ohko I'm not risking missing it hence why i am not using Fire Blast on Ninetails. Superpower also hits Chansey and Blissey which is niftey.
