Hey guys i'm back with another OU team. This team is mainly built because i wanted to try landorus-t, i made it pretty quick so it still has some things that don't exactly fit on the team, but i hope one of you can fix that. This team doesn't really deal with RP Genesect and Deoxys-D too well, but somehow i tend to overcome it. The descriptions aren't going to be anything elaborate because the team is pretty straight forward. If you need further explanations i'll be more than happy to explain. Hope you enjoy the team.
Team Preview
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- U-Turn
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
This is the main reason i made this team. His base 145 atk doesn't need investment,
so i thought why not put intimidate to use. His EV spead allows him to tank pretty
much any physical hit. Earthquake main STAB. U-turn to get some momentum when
i predict a switch. Stealth Rocks uhh, because i didn't want it on ferrothorn,
tyranitar, or terrakion. :D and Stone Edge because no reason.
Latias @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 16 HP / 236 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Recover
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
Latias, i'm totally obsessed with this. I use it on almost all my sand teams. Although
it's becoming more popular, it still has that semi surprise factor when someone see's
a max speed latias. Recover because NO ROOST mew. ;], and because Life Orb and
Sand damage will be racking up, and i need to stay at a decent amount of health.
HP Fire Genesect, Ferrothorn, Jirachi, etc. Draco Meteor STAB and i need the
power, believe it or not, Latias doesn't really suffer from -2 SATK. Psyshock mainly
for blisseys.
Keldeo @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hidden Power [Electric]
- hydro Pump
- Surf
- Secret Sword
My rain counter yo, and i had to scarf it because every team needs a scarfer in this
meta. His base 108 is hard to beat. HP Electric is for Jellicent / Politoed, etc.
Hydro Pump Main STAB and i use it when i know Surf won't KO. Surf because i
don't want to keep missing Hydro Pump because my name is Riles. and Secret
Sword again for Blissey / Ferrothorn.
Ferrothorn (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Leech Seed
- Thunder Wave
- Power Whip
This team kind of needs T-wave, & Spikes support, who i gotta use ferrothorn. He
makes a nice little core with Landorus-T. Spikes because i want residual damage.
Leech Seed only recovery. Thunder Wave because my team ain't that fast, and
i'd like to paralyze Genesects, and other fast things. Power Whip so i'm not taunt
bait, and also to counter Politoed.
Tyranitar (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 200 HP / 60 SAtk / 248 SDef
Gentle Nature
- Crunch
- Roar
- Fire Blast
- Pursuit
Honestly, this pokemon is kind of a weak link on this team. I needed a pokemon, so i
tossed a Ttar on here. I didn't want to get abused by other weather so i decided to
run my own, (as you can see nobody benefits a lot from sand) Also i wanted
a pokemon to take out other Latias / Latios because they're just annoying. I'm
thinking about making it more offensive. Crunch is STAB and if Latias / Latios is
scared to switch, they'll be taking massive damage. Roar for lack of a better move,
and i kind of would like a phazer since i'm running hazards. Fire Blast because for
some reason Genesects love to try and come in on this thing to take a rock / dark
move, then get a Fire Blast to the face. Lastly Pursuit to hit things on the switch.
Terrakion @ Choice Band
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- X-Scissor
- Earthquake
- Quick Attack
Choice Band Terrakion, is here just to put wholes in teams. Nothing really wants to
take a Banded CC from it. Almost everything is 2HKO'd by Close Combat it's my main
STAB. X-Scissor is for those bloody Deoxys-D. They need to go away. If it has prior
damage on it, it can be 2HKO'd by X-Scissor. Earthquake because it's easily
spammable. and Quick Attack because i need priority on this team, although i
rarely find myself using it.
