Ubers need Sun

Well lemme just say that I suck at Sun. I might be worse at it than Sand. But anyway, here's my first Ubers sun team, it did ok, not the best. My win ratio is still higher than my lose one, so that's a good sign.

Trait: Drought
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SpD, -SpA)
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- Dragon Tail
- Earthquake

Groudon is a great phazer for the first few rounds after it gets up SR. Thunder Wave is also used to cripple opponents. Dragon Tail is phazing, and Earthquake is a little STAB to hit some fire types and such.

EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -Spe)
- Earthquake
- V-create
- Outrage
- Stone Edge

I was originally going to have a Band, but without the extra speed Rayquaza just can't seem to outspeed a lot of common dragons in Ubers. So anyway, Earthquake is for coverage, V-Create is pretty strong in the sun, Outrage is a powerful STAB, and Stone Edge is for further coverage.

Trait: Turboblaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 SDef
Modest Nature (+SpA, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Ice Beam
- Fusion Flare
- Earth Power

Specs is powerful. Draco does so much damage to all not resisting it, most of the time it can KO. Ice Beam is another STAB, good for hitting ground types. Fusion Flare is sun boosted, so that's that. Earth Power is further coverage.

Calm Nature (+SpD, -SpA)
- Roost
- Toxic
- Whirlwind
- Ice Beam

Lugia is a boss staller. With amazing phazing skills, paired up with Toxic and Multiscale and Roost, Lugia is a threat to anyone's team, even though it doesn't deal a whole lot of damage. Ice Beam is some nice coverage for other flying types and ground types.

- Swords Dance

- Rock Slide

Rapid Spinner, and attacker, I guess. I'm not familiar with Excadrill, so this set definitely isn't the best. I was actually trying for a bulky attacker. Doesn't work as well as I had hoped, though. It still hits hard, but not super. And it lacks the necessary to sweep. Some help needed.

Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind

- Energy Ball

Soul Dew Calm Mind sweeper. Calm Mind boosts SpD and SpA to ridiculous levels, along with Soul Dew that's a powerful sweeper. Roost is for coverage. Energy ball is for coverage, and Dragon Pulse is STAB.

Hey... Rayquaza have the ability Air Lock. V-Create don't have the boost of the sun that you wanted...

Just a thought, but maybe Zekrom instead of Kyruem-W; it would make a good Kyogre/ rain counter w/ Bolt Strike. Consider Sand Rush on Excadrill? It would cover your Sandteam counter. You need to take into account other weather teams, because Ubers is the weather channel. On Lugia, you can use Dragon Tail instead of Whirlwind (since the both go last anyway, you might as well do some damage, but it is liable to miss). Latias: Grass Knot over Energy Ball. Like it was said, everything in Ubers is overweight. :x

I would recommend Shaymin-S over Rayquaza (strange replacement), since it was said that Air Lock means V-Create doesn't get the boost in sun, and Air Slash Serene Grace Shaymin = death. Also gets STAB from Seed Flare and (if you should so choose) Synthesis is 2/3 of health in sun. Just a thought~

Groudon

Perfection. But your EV spread is all wrong. You must run defense EVs. You have your physical wall here and lugia is your special. Not mixed. It isn't balanced that way. Change it to impish nature and 248 HP EVs / 252 Defense EVs / 8 Attack EVs. Or you can run this set (not preffered) Dragon Tail | Stealth Rock | Stone Edge | Earthquake with 252 Hp evs 248 Attack evs and 4 defense with an adamant nature. This guy is a pure magikarp hater. It has nice defense so it doesn't have to worry about it's amazing splash attack. Now that excadrill is gone you don't have anyone to switch into magikarp's boisterous bounce attack.

Rayquaza

You've got it all wrong. Let's do a head count of how many people rayquaza outspeeds in the uber tier with jolly nature:
• Dialga
• Excadrill
• Giratina
• Giratina-O
• Groudon
• Ho-Oh
• Kyurem White (speed tie if timid)
• Adamant Rayquaza
• Reshiram
and
• Zekrom

Assuming none of these pokemon are scarfed

Now lets see what dragon pokemon it doesn't outspeed like you said!

• Arceus Dragon
• Palkia

Hm. I must be missing someone? No? Gud. You are running a dragon dance set if you are so worried about speed..... or your running a banded set and aboose extreme speed.

You think giratina can wall your extreme speed? How would It like a outrage to the face? As I mentioned before it outspeeds. If you were so worried about speed then why use v create -__-. I'm not even sure rayquaza even gets stone edge btw :P Magikarps can still outspeed when running adamant and they don't even have to be scarfed. But when they are, be sure not to get revenge killed.

Kyurem-White

Kyurem is slower than than magikarp. (All magikarp run choice scarf). Lets counter that magikarp with a splash attack IMEAN scarf!

Don't want magikarps revenge killing your kyurem. I'm dead serious. I had a guy kill my kyurem with a magikarp. MAGIKARP.

Lugia

You may want to consider running 156 Special Defense evs and 100 Defense Evs with the bold nature nature. Or keep calm and do 156 defense evs and 100 special defense with calm nature. Your choice. The moveset is good though. Watch out for magikarp because he otherwise walls this set. Dragon Tail phazing is your only option against this monster.

Excadrill

This guy is made for sand. Also, your ice weakness is terribad. Use dis one it is great in sun and ice types may as well die.

EVs: 156 HP / 252 Attack / 100 Speed
Jolly Nature
- Protect
- Hi Jump Kick
- Flare Blitz
- Swords Dance

This is the only viable set for blaziken. Change the evs to 252 speed if you think you can set up a swords dance without dieng. With one speed boost i'm sure it's impossible to outspeed this guy. OTHER THAN MAGIKARP! Magikarp can and will outspeed if running jolly 252 scarf. Beware of magikarp. I am warning you.

Latias

Nice latias but again watch out for magikarps that are scarfed. The revenge kill.

Magikarp is really dangerous huh. But... All Magikarps needs a Focus Sash to sweep with the Flail. It's deadly. Try catch a Smeargle with this set: Spore | Belly Drum | Baton Pass. Use Spore, them Belly Drum. After this Baton Pass to the Magikarp! And since rain is very popular in Ubers, Swift Swim is a good ability to you use. Almost deadly, ofc.
