Om nom nom (Scizor) (M) @ Steel Gem
Trait: Technician
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Def / 252 Atk
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Bug Bite
- Roost
- Acrobatics
Bullet Punch + STAB + Technician + Steel Gem + Neutrally effective = OHKO. Since it's not Flying type any more, Acrobatics is much better than Aerial Ace, being at a measly 90 rather than 135. Acrobatics is still an incredible 165 power provided the Steel Gem is burned and my theory is correct that Technician works on this type of Acrobatics. Bug Bite (Scizor's nicknamesake BTW) is the main STAB peaking at 135 BP neutrally, and Roost is healing-up, usually off a switch.
Fury (Scyther) (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Technician
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk
Jolly Nature
- Bug Bite
- Aerial Ace
- Swords Dance
- Roost
Pretty much the same thing as Scizor, except Aerial Ace is used instead of Acrobatics and Swords Dance for Bullet Punch. And we're Bulky. But this one is one of the less important ones on the team, so it may be replaced.
OR (Probably going to use it anyway)
Gold Type (Forretress) (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Impish Nature
- Protect
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic
Staller and Spinner. Ummmm.....Kinda Self-explanatory, isn't it?Toxic is status, Rapid Spin is for putting SR in its place, Protect is keeping me alive and poisoning them.
^Sorry about that image being so wide
Trouble (Ninjask) (M) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Speed Boost
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 HP
Jolly Nature
- Protect
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Baton Pass
Protect keeps me alive and sets up a Speed Boost for Heracross, Volcarona(if not Baton Pass Quiver Dance), or Yanmega. Substitute.....well, that is a rare use move for me. Swords Dance is to set up Attack power for Scizor or Heracross.
Achilles (Heracross) (M) @ Expert Belt
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Reversal/Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Megahorn
- Earthquake
Heracross was actually quite disappointing in Gen IV. With Moxie, he makes a huge comeback for me. Baton Pass him a Speed Boost (And maybe a Swords Dance) and he's ready to sweep at least half a team. I am wondering whether I should use Reversal or Close Combat on him; I can't decide. Help me. That will be Fighting STAB. Megahorn gets signature STAB, and it's so much more powerful than X-Scissor I decided to take this one. Earthquake takes down Fire and Poison (Because it counters both of my STAB moves!), along with Electric. Stone Edge gets its Achilles (See what I did there? It has a lot of weaknesses) heel, Flying, and other Bug types.
Behemoth (Volcarona) @ Life Orb
Trait: Flame Body
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower
- Bug Buzz
- Quiver Dance
- Hidden Power [Water]
Time to flare it up! Volcarona bursts in. Quiver Dance will get it some great Special Bulk and Speed. Flamethrower and Bug Buzz are STAB, HP Water is coverage of Ground that may pack Stone Edge, Rock, and other Fire types. This hits pretty damn hard.
Yeah....about the 'Fishlover' thing...this was a DeviantART image, and the author put his/her name on it.
Grievous (Yanmega) (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Tinted Lens
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 HP / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Giga Drain
- Air Slash
- Bug Buzz
- Hidden Power [Rock]
As Gligurr once said, 'one does not simply OHKO as Tinted Lens Yanmega.' I'll add to that, 'especially if it has Choice Specs.' The Specs help it OHKO un-bulky resistances, even though I'm Spec'd. Bug Buzz and Air Slash are STAB, Giga Drain is Rock and Stone-Edge-Ground coverage, and HP Rock is Flying, Fire, and Ice coverage. This was a pun on Sir Sewaddle's old name Mega Grievous, me naming a Yan mega Grievous.
That's all, folks! See ya again soon with another RMT! :D
