Hey guys, I've been taking a break from battling, but I wanted to finally unveil that UU team that went 76-8 on the ladder.
Bronzong @ Normal Gem
Trait: Levitate
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spe)
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 4 SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock
- Hypnosis
- Explosion
Nobody expects this set. Like, ever. it comes in, Hypnosises the opponent, then sets up Rocks on the switch Brave 252 Atk EVs 0 Spe IVs makes STAB Gyro Ball HURT. Scores a clean OHKO Rotom-F and Meleotta, as well as a 2HKO on Roserade. If its lookin like it wont survive much longer, Normal Gem booseted Explosion will rip through Rest-Talk Milotic, even with Marvel Scale.
Mew @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
Careful Nature (+SpD, -SpA)
EVs: 252 HP/ 248 SpD/ 8 Def
- Seismic Toss
- Will-O-Wisp
- Roost
- U-Turn
Special Wall. Mew is a beastly kitty, and can sponge just about anything, save a Guts boosted Megahorn from a Heracross switching into Wisp. U-Turn is mostly for dodging slower ghost types without losing momentum.
Umbreon @ Leftover
Trait: Synchronize
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
EVs: 240 HP/ 248 Def/ 24 SpD
- Foul Play
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Protect
Wish Passer and Cleric. Can Stall quite well. Blob's Mienshao got screwed by this pup. Double Protect while it was Choice- Locked into HJK as his last Poke :) good times.
Blastoise @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 SpA
- Scald
- Rapid Spin
- Roar
- Counter
Spinner, but he can also Phaze and nobody expects Counter on Blastoise, who has decent enough bulk to use it.
Arcanine @ Life Orb
Trait: Intimidate
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 SpD
- Flare Blitz
- ExtremeSpeed
- Close Combat
- Wild Charge
All out attacker, and a hard counter to Heracross, who is this teams most hated adversary. Intimidate + Resistance softens up STAB Megahorn quite a bit.
Flygon @ Choice Band
Trait: Levitate
Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SpA)
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Def
- Outrage
- U-Turn
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
The cleanup crew. STAB Banded Outrage rapes anything lacking a Steel typing, especially late game. Rest is coverage and with the ability to switch into Earthquake and Thunder Wave, U-Turn helps scout and rack up some damage.
