RMT - It is a rain team I have been working on. I do not want you guys to rate it, I want you to help me fix it....

Question

Okay before I show the team. There are two main problems I need help fixing. The core of my team is very weak to ground... earthquake hurts. :(

I also feel that when my enemy sub stalls. I am pretty screwed. Anyway, I just created this team in a matter of two hours, I love pokemon but am pretty new to the competitive stuff. I can't wait to hear your opinions!

Why have specs and Toxic/encore on Politoed? Your just locking your self into a non-attacking move. Replace them with perhaps Focus blast and a hidden power of choice. Also, I thunk you misunderstand what a core is. It is two or more pokemon that balance each other out by covering each others weaknesses. You have called every single pokemon a core except Poli and Ferro.

If you want a choice specs Politoed then change your moveset because your current moveset is for the stalling set.

Politoed-Choice Specs
Trait- Drizzle
Evs- 4 Hp/ 252 SpAtk./ 252 Speed/

Now this is a better Politoed and this guy is tough under rain.

For Tentacruel change Hydro Pump for Scald since the accuracy is 100% and go for Protect instead of Ice Beam to scout and stall under rain.

Ok your team is weak to ground so try replacing Jirachi or Toxicroak for Thunderus.
Thunderus is immune to ground since he's an flying type and could take advantage under rain

This set works great.

Seems like you want a revenge killer on this team.
Try out Keldeo instead of Dragonite since he can take out the trash when things are about to rap up.

I really like DemonKiller's answer.  I do see one problem:  how do you get to choose the HP of legendaries, especially Keldeo?  You can't just say, "Oh, this Keldeo's HP is Water; oh well, guess I'll keep getting Keldeos until one of them has the Ice HP."  (Sorry I put it so frankly; just wanted to get my point across.)  Anyway, I haven't experimented enough with these two Pokémon, but I have an idea:  Get a Tornadus with Hurricane.  Its accuracy increases to 100 in rain, and I'm sure you can make use of its Prankster ability with its other moves.  Hope I helped with your team! :)

@Pimplup-I agree with the HP for legendaries thing, but Thundurus is a better Prankster than ,thanks to Thunder Wave. As for Keldeo, instead of HP Ice, you can use Ice Beam

B - Keldeo doesn't get Ice Beam, only Icy Wind :(
