DONT VOTE THIS ON THIS ANSWER, IT IS MERELY A CONTIOUATION OF THE QUESTION
I made some more edits to the team and I feel it's worth posting them. Thanks to this team managed to peak at 65 on the ladder (MrKijani and Enoch is my witnesses since I suck at imegur). Changes will be posted in italic.
Now, let’s analyze every team member individually:
Flygon @ Choice Band
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- U-turn
- Quick Attack
This thing, it just hits so incredibly hard. Very few things can or want to take a STAB Outrage or Earthquake at all. He serves as my first scout, and brings some key resistances the team desperately needs, primarily Rock and Electric. Quick Attack is some much needed priority whilst still hitting decently hard. Sure I miss the coverage of Fire Punch, but the tide changing power of a priority move should never be underestimated.
Chandelure @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Hidden Power [Rock]
- Shadow Ball
- Flamethrower
- Energy Ball
Counter Fire with Fire I say. The scarf allows it to outrun other Chandelure´s and hits for massive damage. It is troubled by really bulky tanks, sadly. Porygon2, Snorlax and Milotic are just the death of me with Chandelure.
HP Rock is chosen over Psychic to deal with Houndoom and similar. Thank you Doc Flame for suggesting.
Meloetta @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SAtk
Mild Nature
- Close Combat
- Thunderbolt
- Psychic
- Relic Song
Meloetta is incredibly useful for this team. It serves as my first line of defense against special attack with a nice 128 Base SDef, and as my unstoppable mixed attacker, dealing with Porygon2, Snorlax, Blastoise and outspeeds many Specs/Banded foes in its Pirouette form. Overall, it became one of my strongest fighters, and it is quite trolly to use, since no one really expects Thunderbolt and Close Combat.
Feraligatr @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 4 Spe / 252 HP / 252 Atk
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch/ Outrage
- Sword Dance
I made some real adjustments to Feralgitar. Aqua Jet>Waterfall due to the lack of priority on the team. Ice Punch is just better cover and the extra bulk allows me to take out Kingdra anyway. Sword Dance worked better then Dragon Dance with Aqua Jet and Ice Punch. I sometimes use Outrage just for the power of it. Often it can do more damage than Ice Punch simply due to the incredible neutral coverage it provides.
Galvantula @ Choice Specs
Trait: Compoundeyes
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Thunder
- Giga Drain
- Bug Buzz
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Now, for the wild card of the team. Why Galvantula when Raikou exist? Reliable STAB Thunder and STAB Bug Buzz. Specs make Thunder more powerful than Raikous Thunderbolt and STAB Bug Buzz is better than any cover move Raikou possesses. HP Ice is chosen over Giga Drain due to just generally superior coverage.
What I didn't realize with Galvantula and Feralgitar was how great of a core they made. Grass and Electric is completely walled by Galvantula and Ground, Rock, Fire is cookiedough for Feralgitar
Bronzong @ Choice Band
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Trick
- Stealth Rock
- Zen Headbutt
A tricky set, and incredibly unexpected. Start with Trick, and let the ultimate crippling begin! And it sets up SR, which OBIFFAH so kindly reminded me of. Zen Headbutt is great STAB and EQ kills any Chandelure daring to switch in.
I am overall very happy with the team, being a little bit unexpected and very fast. Be aware, this team won’t get any 6-0s, it is usually hanging on one last move since I have to sack 2-3 pokes to wear that last foe down. It is just generally really fun to use a creates really exciting matches.
That will be all for me, have a good day and feel free to leave a comment regarding the team!
