Right, I don't really do much competitive battling, but when I do, it's in OU, UU and NU. So I decided to test the waters of RU for the first time, having little to no knowledge of the metagame (apologies in advance if this team is incredibly noobish XD)

Life Orb is so that I can switch attacks, which I value a lot due to things that would wall me otherwise. This thing outspeeds quite a lot of pokes, and hits hard too. This is my first special sweeper of this team.

Wild Charge > Return so that I hit water types hard. This gives me a rock resist as well, which two of the team is weak to. Also after 2 Shift Gears, this guy sweeps anything that doesn’t resist, or at least puts a large dent in it.

Another rock resist, and my physical tank. He hits both my major weaknesses with STAB earthquake, can recover with lefties and drain punch, and gets coverage on grass types with fire punch.

I needed a spinner without a weakness to rock or fire, so Cryogonal was out. This guy brings some decent offensive prowess as well as a x4 fire resistance and spinning capabilities to the table.
